This project entails the distortion of the human body. These were influenced by surrealist and realism styles. I developed my full scale drawing of the whole human form which gave my drawings a sense of character and persona, in contrast to my distorted facial feature project.

The final image of the body with the cinched in waist, was the final art piece that was exhibited in my Winter Show in January 2020.

This spurred my current practice to studying more human form shapes and distortion techniques. The work has been created using delicate watercolour and pencil crayon on coloured paper. The nude paper is the base for the skin tones in my drawings. By using the old technique of "Trios Crayon", I can bring out the image of human form by using the nude background as the colour for my piece.
