My product design project was an A level independent project of which I created Steampunk themed jewellery and a jewellery box. I used Adobe Illustration to draw my own little cogs which were then cut out onto wood using a laser cutter. For the jewel aspect, I added sea glass, of which I found myself of the beaches of Northern England. I also recycled old spoons for the metal parts of the necklaces and rings. Using a metal engraver, I carved a Steampunk design into the dish of the spoon. The jewellery box was also made using a laser cutter which I designed myself. In addition to the wood and metal, I used plastic, resin and wire to add to some of the jewellery designs. 

This project is one that I am most proud of. As I find working in 3 Dimentional a challenge, this was a challenge I am passionate about completing with quality and care.
